Our Impact: Changing Lives Through Inclusive Engineering Education

This year, we welcomed 20 exceptional rising high school seniors to campus, continuing our mission to spark interest in engineering among young women who are unsure about their future paths. For over two decades, WTP has been creating pathways for women in STEM fields, with many of our alumnae going on to pursue engineering degrees and successful careers. Thanks to our need-blind admissions process, we’ve maintained our commitment to accessibility:

95% of participants received financial assistance

70% attended completely free of charge

$3,000 provided in travel assistance to ensure no student was prevented from attending due to geography

A Critical Juncture: Securing Our Future

As we look ahead, we find ourselves at an important crossroads. The real cost of providing this transformative experience continues to be significant—approximately $15,000 per student. While we’ve maintained our commitment to need-blind admissions and comprehensive financial aid, our donor-supported funding model is facing increasing pressure.
